The website above STATES THE FOLLOWING ON MARIJUANA REFORM in ARKANSAS
"Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has again rejected the wording of a proposed ballot measure that would legalize marijuana in Arkansas.
McDaniel said Monday that there were ambiguities in the wording of a proposed constitutional amendment submitted by Marjorie LeClair of Shirley. McDaniel must certify the proposed amendment before supporters can begin gathering the signatures needed to place it on next year's ballot.
The proposal calls for repealing all state laws related to the cannabis plant.
McDaniel's letter to LeClair says the proposal had unclear language regarding how marijuana would be taxed.
McDaniel's office has approved language on two separate marijuana-related issues, allowing supporters to gather signatures in an effort to put the items on upcoming ballots. Both proposals are related to the medicinal use of marijuana."

QUESTION 1: Colorado, Washington, Alaska, California, New York and possibly one more State will have full legalization of Marijuana or Cannabis going into 2015; Well, Colorado and Washington are already at full legalization status as of Jan. 2014....This poses a threat to the economy of Arkansas, with Arkansas being a medium income state and already many have just lost unemployment benefits; why in the world would Arkansas not even considered the Legalization possibilities????
Every State has already seen the potential benefits of legalization....Don't believe me check the state maps to see how its spreading....They will to follow suit and reap the benefits that will help many many people in many many ways....This will in turn leave Arkansas in the Dust, just like every other time....Maybe just Maybe Arkansas will follow suit being the last or second to the last to allow legalization....AFTER All the benefits for its citizens are lost to other states......
QUESTION 2: You say this would considerably close the wage gap in Arkansas, I find this hard to believe; it just seems to real for me...Just sayin...
Well, Ask yourself this.....How many middle class families know someone that partakes in cannabis, Would This not alone save hundreds if not thousands of families outgoing revenue every month by just allowing the grow of ones own plants?? Secondly, The legalization of Cannabis would provide any farmer or just about anyone with knowledge of plants to earn revenue, possibly a considerable amount of revenue depending on how good of a grower/marketer/financier they are....Smart People and Able People don't always have a College Degree!!! Thirdly, the amount saved in enforcing petty, whimsical, nonsensical, outlandish, LAWS that leave innocent families separated over something so minute, IN Most peoples opinions it produces a better more kinder person...Just Sayin...
I would highly recommend Arkansas rethink the position if they ever wanted anything to come from JOBS or REVENUE or LOST REVENUE from the legalization of Cannabis
